~* Merry Christmas *~

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!  We had a lazy couple days at home this year, since the Winter storm made it impossible to travel very far.  Even with the bad weather we got out to build a snowman & snowdeer!! :)  Enjoy our pictures!

Blessings,  Jenny

Merry Winter 1809 Snowman Pinkeep

You can find my new pattern in my Etsy shop or on Pattern Mart.

- Click on the image for a larger view.

My pinkeep features the words "Merry Winter", a primitive snowman, three snowflake motifs, and the date 1809.
Pinkeep will measure 4" tall x 5 1/2" wide when completed.
Included with this pattern are instructions for rusting safety pins/ straight pins.
My pattern includes cover,  color photo, professional chart, complete instructions, supply list, and staining technique.

This pinkeep stitches up quickly and would look great in an old trencher,  or add a hanger to display on your peg hook.

~* Oh the weather outside is frightful *~

But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

I snapped this picture looking out my front door. That’s all the further I cared to go!! :)  The wind is blowing at 25 to 40 mph with occasional gusts over 50 mph.  Wind chills approaching –20. I think I’ll stay inside and stitch or bake today…..

Looking out my back door to the garage…. Hubby had to scoop his way in… “I think he’s still in there.” :)
